Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our client’s Vinings, GA team. You will design and implement scalable Java/Spring Boot backends, craft RESTful APIs and microservices, and drive modern frontend work with React, while collaborating with offshore engineers to replace SAP-based rules with APIs and microservices.

You will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor peers, and help establish engineering standards as the team grows, ensuring performance and reliability in

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of software development experience, with 7+ years preferred.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Java.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Understanding of cloud-native development principles.
• Experience building scalable enterprise applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with offshore or distributed teams.
• Ability to work across backend and frontend development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance APIs and microservices that replace legacy SAP functionality.
• Develop and maintain modern web applications and user interfaces using React and related frontend technologies.
• Participate in event-driven architecture design and implementation.
• Integrate applications with SAP and other enterprise systems as needed.
• Collaborate with distributed and offshore development teams.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring application performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and help establish engineering standards as the local team grows.
