Job summary

Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI) seeks a Full Stack Software Developer to own internal manufacturing software spanning front-end dashboards, back-end services, and equipment communication protocols.

You will influence architecture decisions and deliver end-to-end solutions across MES/RMS integrations, production monitoring, and SECS/GEM host software. The ideal candidate combines strong C#/.NET skills with initiative to define systems in a growing manufacturing environment and collaborates

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# / .NET development and SQL databases.
• Experience with RESTful API design and back-end service development; Git collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain internal web apps for manufacturing operations.
• Enhance SECS/GEM related software and ensure SEMI standard compliance.
• Integrate MES and RMS systems for production tracking and recipe management.
• Build dashboards and data views using SQL databases for yield and performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot complex automation and data integrity issues in a high-volume environment.
