Job summary

SOC LLC is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to work on-site in the McLean, VA area. The role supports the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of modern software across the full technology stack in a mission-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, 8570 Level II certification, and 3+ years in UI/UX with React along with 3+ years of backend work in Java/Python/Go/SQL/C++.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI federal or DoD clearance with CI polygraph.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
• Minimum 3 years of UI/UX experience with React.
• Minimum 3 years of back-end development, with Java, Python, Go, SQL, or C++, and front-end languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures (ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, network security).
• IaC experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and container orchestration.
• Database expertise with MongoDB and relational databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle/MySQL).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces using frameworks such as React.
• Build and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices using languages such as Java, Python, Go, SQL, or C++.
• Leverage AWS cloud services to design and implement scalable, cloud-native architectures.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Design, manage, and optimize databases, including MongoDB and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system issues across the stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Apply best practices for security, performance, and maintainability across all development efforts.
