Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first tech company enabling clear, flexible pay-over-time experiences with transparent pricing. The Card Acquisition team drives growth, onboarding optimization, and trusted experiences for users and partners across multiple platforms.

You will work with product, design, and analytics to ship web and mobile features, design scalable APIs, and deliver well-structured, testable code while contributing to a collaborative, on-call capable team culture.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale with Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to write clear, well-tested, extensible code interacting with multiple components.
• Comfort navigating large code bases and performing code reviews.
• Demonstrated ownership and proactive growth mindset.
• Strong communication skills for global engineering collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Break down large projects into tasks and deliver in phases with your team lead.
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics through ideation and constraints.
• Support operations and availability of team artifacts and on-call duties.
• Engage in growth and development activities such as interview process participation.
