CarGurus is seeking a Software Engineer II (Full Stack) to advance our Inventory products. You'll transform market data into dealer-facing experiences and build brand-new inventory tools across the tech stack.

With 2–5 years of dev experience, you’ll work in a cross-functional team including data scientists and product managers. We offer a flexible hybrid model, competitive salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in React and Javascript fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Java and SQL.
• Experience with AI coding tools.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservice design.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy clean, well-tested code with high standards of architecture, quality and performance.
• Provide support and improvements to core systems while collaborating with internal stakeholder teams.
• Integrate modern AI tools into the development pipeline to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to guide projects from concept to design and testing.
