Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field; or a master's degree with up to 2 years' experience; or 14 years' experience in a related field.
• AI-Augmented Mindset: Consistent, effective use of AI coding assistants across the SDLC with strong context and critical evaluation.
• Problem Solving: Analytical judgment and ability to troubleshoot moderately complex issues.
• Full Stack Proficiency: Working proficiency across backend/frontend stack with depth in at least one layer.
• Version Control & Collaboration: Comfortable with Git workflows and collaboration.
• Observability: Knowledge of logging, metrics, monitoring tools to understand system health.
• Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical tradeoffs to teammates and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI agents and tools to build, test, and deploy software across the SDLC with proper contextual inputs.
• Contribute to prompt engineering and share tool usage insights with the team.
• Engage in design discussions and help conceptualize outcomes from a software engineering perspective.
• Assist with feature estimation in terms of technical input, resources, time, and outcomes.
• Develop and implement unit and system tests; ensure secure coding practices.
• Provide technical support and enhancements for existing and new features.
• Use observability tools to monitor health, diagnose issues, and verify production behavior.
• Document processes to capture best practices and repeatability.
• Update team on status, challenges, and concerns; participate in code reviews.
• Take ownership of work and drive to completion with minimal oversight.
