Job summary

Deloitte helps transform technology platforms and deliver impact for clients. As a Software Engineer II on the Engineering as a Service team, you will design, develop, and enhance software systems, analyze requirements, and lead deliverables across sprints.

Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's in CS/Engineering/MIS and 3+ years of full-stack experience with Java, Python, and JS, plus cloud/serverless and diverse databases. A Top Secret clearance and 15% travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS preferred.
• 3+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with modern full-stack languages (Java, Python, React, Angular, etc.).
• Experience with cloud and/or serverless environments.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Ability to travel about 15% on average based on client work.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist development teams in delivering technical solutions using SDLC methodologies (Scrum/Agile).
• Design, develop, and enhance software systems and components with modern tools.
• Analyze requirements, data usage, and performance to define designs and identify issues.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and execute tests for components.
• Plan, track, and manage deliverables across short-term sprints and long-term deployments.
