Deloitte France is seeking a Software Engineer III to lead development teams and deliver modern software solutions on client engagements. You will design, build, and integrate software across full stack, emphasize quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex programs.

Based in the United States, the role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to travel; a Top Secret clearance is preferred and legal US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or MIS.
  • 5+ years full-stack development experience.
  • 5+ years with modern full-stack languages (Java, Python, React/Angular).
  • Experience in cloud/serverless environments.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational DBs.
  • Ability to travel ~15% and US work authorization with TS clearance.

Work you'll do

As a Software Engineer III on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead development teams in delivering technical solutions using software development life cycle methodologies, including Scrum and Agile
  • Design, develop, and enhance software systems and custom components using modern development tools and frameworks
  • Analyze user requirements, system flows, data usage, and performance standards to define technical designs and identify problem areas
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and develop and execute test procedures for software components
  • Plan, track, and manage deliverables across short-term sprints and long-term software deployments

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems
  • 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Modern Full Stack languages (Java, Python, React, Angular, etc.)
  • Experience orchestrating in cloud and/or serverless environments
  • Experience with Relational and Non-relational DBs (Postgres, SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.)
  • Ability to travel 15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance

Preferred:

  • Experience with Gen AI, Agentic AI, ML/NLP environments and tools
  • Major Cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
  • AI related certifications (Anthropic, Github, etc.)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,000 to $218,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
