Job summary

Deloitte France is seeking a Software Engineer II for AI & Engineering/Engineering as a Service. You will design, build, and ship cloud-native full‑stack solutions integrating AI features, working with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Azure OpenAI APIs.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable services, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior staff, while contributing to a growing AI delivery capability. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional software engineering
• 3+ years full-stack lifecycle development
• 3+ years in client-facing role or external stakeholder engagement
• 2+ years building REST/GraphQL services
• Experience with cloud platforms and testing practices
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable full-stack features across frontend and backend
• Develop and maintain backend microservices and APIs; implement CI/CD and IaC
• Integrate LLM APIs to build intelligent features
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineers to translate requirements into solutions
• Write and review unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews
• Contribute to AI delivery capability and prototyping of AI workflows
• Support incident response and on-call rotations
