Job summary

BoWatt is a Germany-based startup building agentic requirements and system engineering software for manufacturing. The role focuses on shipping features in a React/TypeScript frontend and a Go backend, addressing next-gen AI problems, and owning projects end-to-end with close collaboration across product, engineering and customer success.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years shipping production code across frontend and backend, are proficient with a statically typed language (Go, Rust, Java or C#),

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience shipping production code end-to-end across backend and frontend.
• Experience with a statically typed language (Go, Rust, Java or C#).
• Experience with React or similar modern web tech (Vue, Svelte).
• Based in Germany with the right to work here.

About BoWatt

BoWatt is building agentic requirements and system engineering software for manufacturing.

We believe AI will reach PhD-level engineering capability within the next 10 years. This will unlock massive value across several complex manufacturing industries. Cars. Planes. Rockets. Factories. Chips. Medical devices. All will be engineered with agents.

We bootstrapped BoWatt to €500k+ ARR before raising our first round.

You’ll join a small, exceptional team of startup builders, driven by innovation and execution. Over half the team are former founders across DeepTech AI, psychedelics, and gaming. We’ve studied and worked at top institutions and companies like Stanford , TUM , Google , EA , and YC -backed AI startups.

The role

• You will build and ship features in our React/TS frontend & Go backend.

• Work on next-gen problems involving AI.

• You will own work end-to-end, collaborate closely with the team (product, engineering and customer success) and continuously improve our stack.

You

• Have 2+ years of experience shipping production code end-to-end across backend and frontend.

• Have experience with a statically typed language like Go, Rust, Java or C#.

• Have experience with React or a similar modern web technology (e.g. Vue, Svelte)

• Are based in Germany with the right to work here.

Interview process
