Job summary

Analytica seeks an experienced Full Stack Engineer in Bethesda, MD to design and implement front-end, back-end, API, and data services for a federal data analytics modernization initiative. You will contribute to secure, scalable platforms with AI-enabled analytics and decision support, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and UX teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering full‑stack applications using modern frontend, backend, API, and database technologies.
• Hands‑on experience building REST APIs, business logic, data access, and error handling.
• Experience with source control, automated testing, and CI/CD in Agile environments.
• Strong knowledge of secure web development, accessibility, databases, and API design.
• Experience working across frontend and backend to deliver integrated solutions.
• Clear technical communication and documentation skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Active Top Secret clearance highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate front-end, back-end, API, database, testing, and application components.
• Build scalable full-stack web applications with modern architectures.
• Develop REST APIs, business logic, data-access layers, validation, logging, and error handling.
• Design databases, data models, queries, and application data services.
• Implement automated testing, source control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and reliability.
• Apply secure software development practices including authentication and authorization.
• Develop technical documentation for architecture, APIs, databases, deployment, testing, and operations.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, AI/ML specialists, and UX/UI teams.
• Ensure security, privacy, accessibility, data governance, and records management across the lifecycle.
