Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development or equivalent experience.
• Experience building and maintaining production software systems, delivering well-scoped projects end-to-end (design, build, test, ship, operate).
• Worked across the stack, on backend services and on the interfaces people use to operate them.
• Drive to find flaws in a system with many moving parts.
• Curiosity about partly specified problems, asking concrete questions.
• Explaining technical tradeoffs clearly to engineers and non-engineers alike.
• Demonstrated AI fluency, including using AI-powered developer tools.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate services for legal and compliance workflows.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in design and code reviews.
• Design systems within microservice and event-driven architectures handling sensitive data.
• Translate legal requirements into durable automated workflows with Counsel and Compliance.
• Participate in on-call, incident response, and postmortems.
• Modernize services to improve reliability and velocity using AI tools.
