Job summary

Realtor.com® is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our high-performance engineering team as a full-time, hands-on contributor. You will work across backend microservices, APIs, frontend, and DevOps, owning critical components of our consumer ecosystem.

You’ll contribute to hyper-customized web experiences, high-traffic frontend performance, and scalable backend services, while modernizing infrastructure and expanding automated test suites in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and scaling distributed systems.
• Strong depth across backend services, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, frontend frameworks, and cloud/DevOps.
• Experience with Node.js and microservice architectures.
• Familiarity with search, marketplace, or financial services products is a plus.
• Knowledge of data pipelines and secure, compliant design for consumer data.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-traffic features and partner integrations across the full stack.
• Write tested, production-ready code and enforce testing standards.
• Take ownership of operational quality, observability, and incident readiness.
• Ensure data integrity and secure engineering practices across services.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to optimize workflows.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
