Job summary

TechOp Solutions seeks a Software Developer/Software Engineer to support CBP OFAM MAPMO, focusing on application development, automation, data modernization, and enterprise system sustainment for users nationwide. You will design, build, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain digital applications and automation workflows in a federal environment.

Candidates with strong CS fundamentals and hands-on development experience in Java, C#, Python, .NET, JavaScript, or similar may be considered, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a closely related technical field.
Hands‑on software development, application development, automation development, or data‑driven application experience.
Experience with at least one programming language or development framework such as Java, C#, Python, .NET, JavaScript, or similar.
Ability to understand application logic, troubleshoot technical issues, and explain technical solutions clearly.
Experience working with databases, SQL, data sources, reporting tools, APIs, automation workflows, or data transformation processes.
Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and deliver practical technical solutions.
Ability to create clear documentation for technical and non‑technical audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
