Job summary

Agile Defense, a national security-focused technology partner, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer / Software Developer (CBP) to design, build, and maintain applications that support critical missions. This role is based in Ashburn, VA, with a hybrid work arrangement and a CBP BI or DoD clearance strongly preferred.

You will work across the stack with cloud, automation, and security teams, ensuring code meets federal accreditation requirements and integrates with existing systems.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping production software in government or highly regulated environments.
• Ability to pass security reviews and describe changes.
• Comfort across the stack, not just frontend or backend.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines as a contributor, not just deployed by others.
• Active CBP BI or a compatible clearance shortens start date.

Responsibilities
