You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle to deliver secure, scalable, and high‑quality software while collaborating closely with engineers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive, modern user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, Angular Material, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Design and consume RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
  • Develop applications within Linux containerized environments.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, testing, demonstrations, and production releases.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, stakeholders, and end users throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Enhance existing applications through performance optimization, feature enhancements, and technical modernization.
  • Develop reusable libraries, components, and services that improve maintainability and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team.
  • Analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative, scalable solutions.
  • Help ensure software quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt modern development tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Public Trust.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
