Job summary

DomainTools is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team, building high-impact web apps and enterprise-grade cybersecurity products used in mission-critical environments. You will work in a collaborative setting focused on scalable software, with emphasis on frontend/backend integration and pragmatic engineering practices.

The Frontend Team handles a React client and a PHP server; this role primarily works with PHP, Laravel, and TypeScript while engaging in full-stack tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing modern web applications.
• Strong PHP framework experience (Laravel or Symfony).
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
• Experience with React 18+ and Redux.
• Experience with API integration and consumption.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with Docker or container technologies.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.
• Build and maintain applications using Laravel (PHP) and React (TypeScript).
• Integrate frontend applications with APIs, backend systems, and databases.
• Contribute to both new product development and enhancement of existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, documentation, and design feedback sessions.
• Develop expertise in customer-facing products and platform capabilities.
