Job summary

DomainTools is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Austin. You will work across the full stack, focusing on Laravel (PHP) and React (TypeScript) to deliver enterprise-grade cybersecurity products used in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing modern web applications.
• Knowledge of software architecture and experience implementing programming patterns.
• Strong experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES7+) and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of: Object-oriented, functional, and procedural PHP 7+; API integration and consumption.
• Experience with React 18+ and Redux.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as PHPUnit and Jest.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
• Experience working with Docker or other container technologies.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.
• Build and maintain applications using best practices for Laravel (PHP) and React (TypeScript).
• Integrate frontend applications with APIs, backend systems, and databases.
• Contribute to both new product development and enhancement of existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, documentation, and design feedback sessions.
• Develop expertise in customer-facing products and platform capabilities.
