Job summary

DomainTools, Seattle, WA, is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop modern JavaScript SPAs powered by PHP middleware APIs. You will ship high-quality code with minimal meetings, participate in code reviews, and contribute to product ideation while owning both frontend and backend tasks.

Required: React 18+, Redux, PHP 7+ with Laravel/Symfony, APIs, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable web apps and robust testing with PHPUnit/Jest.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
• Object oriented PHP 7+ programming.
• JavaScript (ES7+) and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of React 18+ and Redux.
• Experience with unit and integration testing (PHPUnit, Jest).
• Demonstrable experience building and consuming APIs.
• Proficiency with Git.
• Experience with Docker.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern JavaScript SPAs powered by PHP middleware APIs.
• Produce well designed, testable, efficient code using software development best practices.
• Integrate with and utilize data from backend services and databases.
• Build web applications using PHP on the backend and JavaScript (ES7+), HTML5, and CSS3 on the frontend.
• Contribute to new product ideation and feature development of existing products.
• Collaborate with teammates through code reviews and technical documentation.
