Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and develop core platform services for secure satellite ground communications. You will build multitenant backend services on AWS, create APIs, and design frontend components to support reliable, scalable systems for government missions.

The role emphasizes security, RBAC/ABAC, and microservice architectures, with collaboration across MBSE and Test teams to align requirements with implementation.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in software engineering, CS, systems engineering, or related field with extensive experience.
• Secret clearance required and must maintain clearance.
• Proficiency in Python for backend systems and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build multitenant backend services on public cloud platforms (AWS).
• Architect, develop, and consume APIs and backend services with emphasis on automation & security.
• Design UIs and reusable frontend components for maintainable app functionality.
• Develop microservices and service-to-service communication patterns.
• Investigate and resolve production issues using structured troubleshooting.
