Our team uses modern MBSE practices to translate mission needs into precise, traceable, and verifiable technical requirements across a complex, multi‑system environment.

As a SR Full Stack Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of core platform services that support secure, scalable, and reliable satellite ground communications and data‑transport capabilities. You will develop backend architectures, implement mission‑critical services, and participate in technical decision‑making that ensures consistent, resilient, and compliant system performance for U.S. Government missions. In this role, you will create backend components, collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams, and ensure technical solutions align with system requirements and program objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Build multi‑tenant backend services on public cloud platforms such as AWS.

  • Create software system designs from business requirements and translate functional needs into technical specifications.
  • Refine ambiguous or incomplete requirements into actionable technical solutions.
  • Gather requirements from users and translate business needs into system‑level and component‑level technical solutions.
  • Present technical designs and recommendations to engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Test teams to ensure alignment between requirements, models, and system implementation.
  • Mentor other members of the technical team
  • Develop backend services using Python, including API development, automation logic, and platform‑level components.
  • Design user interfaces (UI) and implement reusable front‑end software components to support consistent, accessible, and maintainable application functionality.
  • Design and develop microservices and associated communication patterns.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues using structured diagnostic and troubleshooting methods.
  • Solve technical challenges related to secure and scalable satellite communications infrastructure.
Qualifications

Required qualifications:
