Job summary

Fidelity TalentSource is seeking a driven Full Stack Engineer for Boston, MA. You will design, build, and support web applications that automate and modernize Fidelity's workflows, collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of full stack software engineering experience.
• Experience building web applications end-to-end.
• Developing scalable APIs and microservices.
• Working in Agile teams.
• Integrating AI-powered solutions into products.
• Strong system design, testing, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• RESTful APIs and web services knowledge.
• Relational databases and SQL fundamentals.
• Git-based source control and development practices.
• Excellent communication and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements to support.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications supporting critical business processes.
• Write clean, maintainable code following engineering standards.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, architects, SMEs and UX teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and root-cause analysis.
• Modernize legacy processes and migrate to new platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, ceremonies, and continuous improvement.
• Learn and apply emerging technologies to improve delivery
