Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring a full‑stack software engineer to build, enhance, and maintain features on an enterprise IoT platform in a Boston area setting. You will own front‑end work with Angular or AngularJS and deliver robust back‑end services in C#/.NET, while integrating SQL Server and Azure services.

You will write production‑quality code with automated unit and functional tests and follow engineering best practices. Collaboration with product, architecture, and AI-assisted workflows is essential.

Qualifications

Proven experience with C#/.NET and front-end development using Angular.
Hands-on experience across both client and server components.

Job description

Build, enhance, and maintain features across an enterprise IoT platform.
Take significant ownership of front-end development using Angular or AngularJS.
Develop reliable and scalable back-end functionality using C#/.Net
Work with SQL Server and Azure-based services.
Write production-quality code supported by automated unit and functional testing.
Apply software architecture patterns, engineering standards, and development best practices.
Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering stakeholders.
Contribute to AI-assisted software development workflows, preferably using Cursor.
Support secondary platform components using ReactJS, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL or similar technologies.
Participate in the development of AI agents, agentic orchestration solutions, and MCP Server capabilities.

Requirements

At least of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong hands‑on experience with C# and .NET development.
Extensive front‑end development experience.
Strong experience with Angular or AngularJS.
Experience working with SQL Server.
Experience developing and deploying solutions using Microsoft Azure.
Hands‑on experience writing automated unit and functional tests.
Experience applying software architecture patterns and engineering best practices.
Ability to contribute effectively across both front‑end and back‑end systems.
Experience developing or extending IoT platforms.
Experience with AI‑assisted development tools, particularly Cursor.
