Wedgewood Pharmacy is seeking a Full Stack Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and enhance Blue Rabbit, our veterinary web application that enables veterinarians to submit prescriptions to Wedgewood, along with other business-critical tools.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams across frontend and backend, APIs, databases, and integrations with downstream systems, delivering reliable, scalable solutions in an Agile environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/CE or related field with at least two years of professional software development experience.
• Experience applying object-oriented programming and software fundamentals to real applications.
• Worked on backend development, APIs, and database interactions in full-stack projects.
• SQL skills and understanding of data interactions in applications.
• Experience with Node.js, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript in full-stack work.
• Exposure to both frontend and backend components and how they fit together.
• Ability to learn new languages/frameworks to solve challenges.
• Ownership of development tasks and contribution to team projects.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications for Blue Rabbit and related solutions.
• Develop and support backend services, APIs, and integrations with internal/external apps.
• Build and enhance frontend functionality for reliable user experiences.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to support functionality and data integration.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, testing, and delivery within two-week cycles.
• Take ownership of tasks and contribute from design through implementation.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Explore and apply new languages, frameworks, and technologies as business needs evolve.
