Job summary

LaunchDarkly is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build customer-facing product experiences and the backend systems that power them. You’ll work across the application boundary from intuitive interfaces to reliable services, APIs, and data flows, helping customers understand, configure, and control software delivery.

You’ll partner with Product, Design, Data, and other engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality software while balancing usability, performance, and value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software experience.
• Frontend and backend experience, API boundary work.
• Go, Python, or similar backend language.
• React and TypeScript front-end experience.
• APIs and backend services design or consumption.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end product capabilities across frontend and backend.
• Develop UIs with TypeScript/React and APIs with Go or Python.
• Translate problems into designs and incremental plans.
• Own features from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Collaborate across Product, Design, Data, and Eng teams.
• Write clean, tested code and improve observability.
• Participate in code reviews and incident response.
