Job summary

LaunchDarkly is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build customer-facing product experiences and the backend systems that support them. You will work across the application boundary from intuitive interfaces to reliable services, APIs and data flows, shaping how customers understand, configure, and control software delivery.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and engineering teams to balance usability, performance, and value, while ensuring scalability and security in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience building production software across frontend and backend
• Backend experience with Go or Python (Go preferred)
• Frontend experience with modern frameworks like React and typed languages like TypeScript
• Experience designing or consuming APIs and working with data stores or async systems
• Strong product instincts and ability to connect decisions to outcomes
• Clear communication and collaborative approach

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end product capabilities across frontend and backend systems
• Develop user experiences with TypeScript/React and services with Go/Python
• Translate customer problems into technical designs and delivery plans
• Own features from discovery to launch, measure results
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and engineering teams
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to engineering practices
• Improve observability and reliability of systems
• Participate in code reviews and incident response
