Manulife John Hancock is seeking a full-stack software engineer to join the Document Analytics team. You will work across the full software lifecycle, building user-facing apps, APIs, and data-driven capabilities to deliver analytical insights.

You will collaborate with product, architecture, and design teams to turn business needs into reliable technical solutions. The role emphasizes modern front-end and backend development, secure and scalable systems, and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building both front-end and back-end applications.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain modern full-stack applications using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS on the front end.
• Develop reliable, scalable backend services using Go, C#, and/or Java.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs, services, and integrations for data access and analytics.
• Build and maintain database solutions, including PostgreSQL and related data technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Partner with UX/design teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Work with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies for scalable deployments.
