Job summary

Finch Legal in New York City is seeking a Member of the Technical Staff to own critical features end-to-end, ship fast, and work directly with product, ops, and design in a fast-moving codebase where your decisions matter from day one.

As a full-stack engineer, you will build end-to-end workflows using Python/Django, React, and AWS, shipping AI-powered capabilities that translate legal complexity into usable software for law firms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production-grade software.
• Full-stack proficiency in frontend and backend.
• Proficient in Python and React; quick to pick up new stacks.
• Track record of writing clean, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Own major features end-to-end, from architecture to release.
• Build reliable, performant systems across core workflows.
• Ship AI-powered features that simplify legal workflows.
• Collaborate with product, ops, design to define what to build.
• Help shape engineering standards and practices as the team grows.
