Job summary

Finch is building software to modernize personal injury law. As a Member of the Technical Staff in NYC, you will own critical features end-to-end, ship fast, and collaborate with product, ops, and design.

This full-stack role uses Python/Django, React, and AWS. You’ll shape architecture, deliver reliable systems, and enable our paralegals to handle more cases while we scale nationwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building reliable, secure software in production.
• Full-stack experience – comfortable across the frontend and backend.
• Proficiency in Python and React, or demonstrably fast at picking up new stacks.
• A track record of writing clean, testable, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Own major features end-to-end, from architecture decisions through production release.
• Build reliable, performant systems across core workflows using Python/Django, React, and AWS.
• Ship AI-powered functionality that turns legal complexity into usable software for law firms.
• Collaborate with product, ops, and design to define what gets built and why.
• Shape our culture of the technical team, standards, and practices.
