Job summary

re-zoo-me, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking Software Engineers at all levels in the United States. This remote role supports frontend and backend work with Java, Spring, JavaScript, React, APIs, and databases, emphasizing cloud‑native engineering and modern delivery practices.

As you progress, you will mentor others, influence architecture, and take ownership of technical decisions across teams, with senior and lead engineers guiding the strategy and design.

Qualifications

• 1+ year for Consultant II; 3+ years for Senior Consultant I/II; 5+ years for Lead
• Strong CS fundamentals and OOD
• Professional experience with Java, Spring, JavaScript, and React
• Backend APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, caching, messaging systems
• Frontend development for responsive web or mobile apps
• Cloud‑native development, CI/CD, DevOps, and continuous delivery

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot software across the full stack
• Participate in iteration planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives
• Apply TDD, pairing, CI/CD, and CD to deliver reliable software
• Build frontend experiences and backend services with APIs, databases, caching, and messaging systems
• Contribute to decisions balancing simplicity, scalability, and customer needs
• Support production apps and resolve technical issues
• Share knowledge and collaborate with engineers, PMs, stakeholders
• Mentor engineers and strengthen development practices
• Lead level: influence architecture, backlog, and cross‑product strategy
• Lead: guide complex architecture and engineering direction across products
• Lead retrospectives and continuous‑improvement initiatives
