Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate data into actionable insights through visualizations.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability to ensure quick load times and effective data presentation.
- Implement alerting rules within Grafana to proactively notify teams of anomalies and potential issues.
- Design and implement robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into data stores compatible with Grafana.
- Develop and optimize complex queries (SQL, PromQL, SPL, etc.) to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
- Create APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration across systems and monitoring tools.
- Manage AWS infrastructure to support observability tools, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
- Build and automate CI/CD pipelines for dashboards, data pipelines, and infrastructure deployment.
- Apply SRE best practices to maintain system reliability, including participating in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents, implement corrective measures, and track SLOs and SLIs to monitor system health.
- Document architecture, processes, and operational procedures to foster knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
- Engage with development, operations, and product teams to align monitoring strategies with business goals.
