Are you a seasoned Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer eager to join a dynamic team where excellence is the norm? We're a world-class, remote-first startup seeking someone passionate about building innovative and scalable applications. What You’ll Do

  • As a senior member of our engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge web application and API experiences for our customers, specifically focusing on data visualizations and customer analytics. You'll work with modern React (JavaScript/TypeScript) on the frontend and Python on the backend, creating secure and efficient solutions that drive our business forward.
  • You'll leverage AWS services like ECS/EKS, SQS, and RDS to build robust and scalable cloud-based systems for our analytics platform. This will include significant work with Quicksight implementation and other data visualization tools. Deploying on our GitLab CI/CD pipeline, you'll ensure that high-quality code moves swiftly from development to production. You'll also implement comprehensive end-to-end testing with Cypress to guarantee our applications perform flawlessly.
  • Beyond coding, you'll collaborate with a team that prides itself on maintaining a high-quality bar. You'll participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a culture that encourages innovation and excellence, particularly in the realm of data and analytics.

What You Bring

  • Expertise in Full-Stack Development: Strong proficiency with Python and React (JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Cloud Experience: Solid experience with AWS, particularly ECS, SQS, and RDS, and a good understanding of cloud-native architectures, with a focus on data and analytics solutions.
  • Data Visualization & Analytics Experience: Hands-on experience with data visualization tools, particularly AWS Quicksight, and a strong understanding of customer analytics principles.
  • CI/CD Proficiency: Familiarity with GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and team collaboration.
  • Testing Skills: Hands-on experience with Cypress for writing and maintaining end-to-end tests.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for analyzing complex requirements and delivering elegant, scalable solutions, especially in data-driven contexts.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrating discipline and passion in every project.
