Jobtailor seeks a senior full-stack engineer to architect, develop, and ship features spanning React front-ends, Node services, mobile apps, browser extensions, and AI-driven infrastructure.

You will own major components end-to-end, emphasize scalability and UX, and collaborate with product, design, and AI/ML teams in a hybrid San Diego setting. Strong TypeScript/React/Node/MongoDB skills and healthcare domain interest are expected.

Qualifications

4+ years of full-stack development experience.
Proven track record delivering production-grade systems.
Expertise in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB.
Strong front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, Fetch/XHR.
Experience with browser extensions or similar browser-integrated technologies.
Designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with NoSQL data models.
Ability to design clean, scalable architecture and anticipate technical challenges.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and ownership.
Legally authorized to work in the United States; willing to undergo a background check.
Comfortable working in a hybrid setting; located in San Diego, CA or open to relocation.

Requirements

4+ years of full-stack development experience
Strong history of delivering production-grade systems from concept to launch
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB
Deep front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and Fetch/XHR
Expertise in browser extensions or similar browser-integrated technologies
Expertise designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
Strong familiarity with NoSQL data models
Ability to design clean, scalable architecture and anticipate technical challenges
Excellent communication, collaboration, and product intuition
Familiarity with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, version control best practices, and modern DevOps workflows
Strong ownership and ability to drive work autonomously
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Willingness to undergo a background check
Comfortable working in a hybrid setting
Currently located in San Diego, CA or open to relocation
Preferred: experience with AI/ML pipelines, LLMs, model evaluation, or data processing workflows
Preferred: knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, GCP, Helm, Terraform, and distributed systems
Preferred: mobile application development or cross-platform frameworks
Preferred: fast-paced startup experience
Preferred: independently built projects such as open source, side projects, research, or entrepreneurial work
Preferred: familiarity with healthcare, clinical documentation workflows, or regulated environments including HIPAA, SOC2, NIST, or ISO frameworks
Preferred: systems design balancing usability, accuracy, and performance at scale
