Job description

540 is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to assist USCIS in developing applications using modern open-source technologies hosted on AWS. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment focused on user-centered design, development, security, operations, and data science to support USCIS's Biometrics and Scheduling Systems.

You will be part of a full-lifecycle DevOps team, responsible for estimating, designing, developing, and testing features for deployment. Collaboration with peers to identify improvement areas and optimize systems for better partner integration, stability, security, and data integrity is essential. Your work will directly impact the immigration experience for USCIS benefits seekers.

Location: Remote within the continental United States, with East Coast working hours and some flexibility.

Citizenship & Clearance: Must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining a DHS Public Trust clearance.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
