Full Stack Software Development Engineer

Join to apply for the Full Stack Software Development Engineer role at Archbright.

This position involves designing new product features for hundreds of organizations, including nonprofits, working with a small, close-knit team, and taking ownership of features across the entire stack from client to server-side development. The role offers a largely remote work setup with occasional travel to Seattle, and requires proven experience in front-end and back-end development, with a focus on React.

The engineer will work cross-functionally to understand member requirements and translate them into technology solutions, including designing prototypes, developing, and testing applications.

Location: Remote (Candidates from WA, OR, ID). Travel to Seattle 2-4 times/year. Must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test software solutions based on stakeholder requirements.
• Gather criteria, set specifications, and develop new features independently.
• Create work tickets, estimate tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Design and code applications, perform testing, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs.
• Use various software development lifecycle methodologies.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of application development experience.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience/certification.
• Experience with cloud-based tools and full stack development using React.js and Node.js.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Node.js, React, React-Router, DevOps, Firebase, Git, SQL/MySQL, REST API.
• Experience with cloud-based development tools and full stack applications.

Other Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Adaptability to change and continuous learning.

Benefits and Compensation:

Salary range: $118,114 - $131,237 (hiring range), total range up to $157,481. Benefits include PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision, remote work, 401(k), disability, life insurance, and more.
