540 is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to develop applications for USCIS using modern open source technologies hosted on AWS. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing user-centered design, development, security, operations, and data science services to support USCIS Biometrics and Scheduling Systems. You will be part of a full-lifecycle DevOps team, estimating, designing, developing, and testing features for deployment. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and optimize systems to enhance partner integration, stability, security, and data integrity, contributing to modernizing the immigration experience for USCIS applicants. Your work will have a direct impact on the immigration process for benefits seekers.
Location: Remote within the continental United States, with East Coast working hours and some flexibility.
Citizenship & Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining a DHS Public Trust clearance.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
