• Position: Full Stack Software Engineer II
• Type: Long term contract, 3+ years fully funded
• Location: 100% remote anywhere in the US

Job Description

Our client, a technical solutions provider, is supporting a long-term government contract to modernize a suite of applications. They seek talented, mid-level software engineers with full stack expertise, particularly in Node.JS, JavaScript, .NET, and/or Python. GIS experience is also preferred.

Required Skills

• Experience in full-stack application design, development, and lifecycle
• Overall 6 years of experience including programming web services in .NET, Python, and NodeJS; working with PostgreSQL databases; developing user experiences in React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript; implementing testing, API communication (REST/JSON), and multi-system interactions
• Experience migrating on-premises applications to AWS containerized solutions (EKS) and utilizing AWS native tools (RDS, MSK, etc.)
• Experience with Agile development, source control (Git, Azure DevOps, BitBucket), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in technical solutions, peer reviews, coding standards, requirement gathering, client interaction, collaboration, documentation, and user stories
• Drive for continuous learning, proactive thinking, and adaptability to new technologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience in legacy systems modernization and code migration
• Experience with GIS technologies like SpatiaLite, GeoPackage, OGC standards, ESRI services, ArcGIS APIs, Leaflet, GDAL, SQL Server Spatial, PostGIS
