Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for an early-stage digital health startup in Boston. You will own features from concept to deployment, building a platform that supports patients and care teams, using TypeScript, React, Node, and cloud services.

Collaborate with product, clinical, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable healthcare solutions. 100% hands-on, design backend services, APIs, and internal tools; healthcare experience and HIPAA awareness are a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building production software across the stack.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React and Node application development.
• Experience working in small, fast-paced teams where priorities change frequently.
• Experience in healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environments.
• Experience in healthcare and HIPAA-regulated environments.
• Experience in shipping mobile with React Native, iOS or Android.

An early-stage digital health startup is looking to hire a Full Stack Engineer to help build and enhance their digital platform that supports health care patients and their care teams.

This hands-on role involves owning features from concept to deployment, working across multiple areas of the product, and collaborating closely with product, clinical, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and impactful healthcare solutions. You would be using TypeScript, React, Node, AWS or GCP

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with TypeScript, React and Node application development
• 4+ years building production software across the stack.
• Experience working in small, fast-paced teams where priorities change frequently
• Strong product sense

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in healthcare, and HIPAA-regulated environments.
• Comfort with LLM application development (prompt design, evals, RAG, tool use)
• Degree in a relevant field
• Background shipping mobile (React Native, iOS, Android)
• Ability to communicate clearly and make practical tradeoffs
