Federal Express Corporation in Plano, TX is seeking a software engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications across Retail solutions domains. You will drive CI/CD pipelines, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues in an Agile environment.
The role requires hands-on Java/Spring Boot and Angular experience, with knowledge of 12-factor cloud-native architecture and Kubernetes/Azure/GCP ecosystems.
This is a hybrid position located in Plano,TX. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.
Under general supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. This role will help build and scale a comprehensive suite of cloud-based Retail Solutions that support the Retail point-of-sale/Revenue, Customer, and Location business domains. The position focuses on building strong full‑stack engineering fundamentals while applying modern SDLC practices, including cloud‑native application deployment and responsible use of AI‑enabled development tools, within established architectures and standards.
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent.
One (1) year work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
Under general supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation.
U.S. Pay Range: $71,523.48 - $94,768.56 per year
