ICE Mortgage Technology, a part of Intercontinental Exchange, is seeking a Full Stack Developer I to join our innovation-focused team in Jacksonville, FL. You will contribute to modernizing the mortgage servicing platform, building features with React frontends and Java/Spring Boot backends, and assisting in migrating legacy systems to scalable architectures.

You will work in an AI-forward engineering culture, using AI tools to write code, review, and solve problems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent experience.
• Foundational knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL and relational database concepts; exposure to PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Understanding of web application and API security principles.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Comfort using AI as a daily tool across the software development lifecycle, from design through testing and deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain full-stack feature development using React on the frontend and Java/Spring Boot microservices on the backend, under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Maintain existing C#/.NET applications and MS SQL databases, and assist with migration efforts to Java/Spring Boot and PostgreSQL.
• Write and maintain PostgreSQL queries and assist with schema work to support application performance and data integrity.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs, adhering to data governance policies and procedures; integrate with React-based frontends.
• Implement new features and enhancements to existing functionality with defined standards and peer collaboration.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and team standards.
• Leverage AI as a core development tool to accelerate workflows including code generation, documentation, and code review assistance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in both backend and frontend systems, using AI-assisted tools to diagnose and resolve issues faster.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality, including AI-assisted test generation and coverage analysis.
• Stay current with relevant technologies, frameworks, and emerging AI/LLM capabilities relevant to the tech stack.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
