Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is hiring a Full Stack Developer I in Jacksonville, FL to contribute to mortgage technology platforms.

You will work on front-end React components and back-end Java/Spring Boot microservices, while also maintaining legacy C#/.NET apps and migrating towards modern stacks. You’ll collaborate with engineers to build scalable solutions, write tests, and use AI tools to speed up coding, reviews, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 1+ years of professional software development experience.
• Foundational knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases; PostgreSQL exposure is a plus.
• Understanding of web app and API security principles.
• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, able to work with AI tools.
• Comfort using AI as a daily tool across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack features using React frontend and Java/Spring Boot backend.
• Maintain existing C#/.NET apps and MS SQL; assist migrations to Java/Spring and PostgreSQL.
• Write and optimize PostgreSQL queries; assist with schema work for performance.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs; integrate with React frontends.
• Implement new features following team standards and peer reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate coding, testing, and reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend and frontend issues; participate in code reviews.
• Write and maintain unit tests; use AI-assisted test generation and coverage analysis.
• Stay current with technologies and AI/LLM capabilities relevant to stack.
