Job summary

Alan integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single user experience. It aims to make prevention the new norm by connecting healthcare services and supporting members in living healthier lives.

Задачи

• Design and ship LLM-powered agents that understand members’ requests, reason over their contracts, claims, and history, and take actions on their behalf
• Build tools, retrieval, and context pipelines that provide agents with the right information at the right time
• Enable agents to interoperate with other AI agents by handing off conversations, sharing context, and calling each other’s capabilities
• Bring automated resolution to new channels, starting with real-time AI phone support
• Build datasets, automated evaluations, and quality monitoring to assess agent responses before members see them
• Measure and improve resolution rates, answer quality, and member satisfaction in production by iterating on prompts, models, and architecture
• Work with care experts and product teams to identify topics that AI can fully resolve
• Influence product direction, mentor other engineers, and lead technical initiatives

Требования

• 5+ Years of experience building scalable software systems
• Strong backend experience
• Hands-on experience building products with LLMs, including agents, tool calling, RAG, prompt engineering, or evaluation; ideally shipped to production
• Ability to measure AI system quality and improve it
• Interest in healthcare technology and understanding of insurance as a means of access to care
• Curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a pragmatic approach to the fast-moving AI landscape
