Job summary

SkillStorm is hiring and training early-career technologists in a paid 12‑week program. You’ll learn through hands-on, team-based projects and transition to deployment with Fortune 100 clients or U.S. government agencies from day one.

A bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least one year of technical experience are expected. You'll work on modern technologies, build solid software skills, and gain certifications while receiving mentorship and support throughout training and placement.

SkillStorm prepares technology talent for Fortune 100 enterprises and U.S. government agencies. Your first 12 weeks are paid, hands‑on training built around real, team‑based projects. After that, you deploy directly to an enterprise or government client, effective day one. You never pay for this training. It's a salaried role with a clear route from "qualified" to "deployed professional."

We're hiring people early in their technical careers, including recent graduates and career changers with a technical foundation, who have the fundamentals, the drive, and an interest in a structured path into enterprise software work.

Is this you?

You're likely a match if you meet these:

• A bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or similar)
• At least 1 year of technical work experience

You’ll also need a working grasp of programming fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, databases and SQL, and software development in an object-oriented language like Java or C#.

• Build and improve applications using the languages, frameworks, and tools your client relies on

• Troubleshoot and fix defects, and provide technical support through resolution
• Take part in code reviews, both giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Work with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical specifications
• Support testing and production deployments, and keep technical documentation up to date
• Stay current on industry tools and techniques through ongoing training
