Job summary

The University of Missouri - Columbia’s MU School of Medicine is seeking an intermediate Programmer Analyst/Application Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support modern web applications that advance its clinical, academic, administrative, and data management needs. This role requires in-person work at our Columbia, Missouri location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, and React.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern front-end development.
• Experience deploying or supporting applications in a cloud environment.
• Knowledge of AI-related technologies and secure development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain web applications for academic, administrative, clinical, reporting, and data management functions.
• Develop using C#, .NET/ASP.NET, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL.
• Participate in migration of apps to cloud-based environments.
• Apply AI technologies to improve systems and develop new capabilities.
• Support security and CI/CD processes; maintain documentation and provide effort estimates.
• Work in an Agile team, contribute to requirements gathering and deployment.
