Job summary

University of Missouri-Columbia seeks an intermediate Programmer Analyst/Application Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support modern web applications for the School of Medicine and MU Health. You will work on AI-enabled solutions, cloud deployment, and security within an Agile team on a Columbia, MO campus.

You should have strong full-stack skills (C#, React, TypeScript) and knowledge of AI, cloud environments, and secure development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BS in Computer Science preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience is typical.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain web-based applications for the School of Medicine and MU Health.
• Develop modern web applications using C#, .NET/ASP.NET, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and related technologies.
• Participate in migration to cloud environments with scalable, secure architectures.
• Apply AI technologies to improve systems, including AI automation, agents, chatbots, and AI-assisted development and testing.
• Ensure secure integrations between applications, databases, APIs, and cloud services.
• Collaborate in an Agile development team including requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Maintain documentation and provide estimates for development efforts.
• Research emerging technologies in AI, cloud, security, and automation.
