Job summary

UAB is seeking a Software Developer-ENT to maintain and enhance software for third-party customers, assist in coding, testing, and debugging new software, and implement enhancements per specifications from higher level staff or business analysts.

Hybrid eligible with Day/1st shift in a university setting. The role includes HIPAA/FERPA security training annually and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Systems or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
• Experience related to position: software development, coding, web development, mobile development

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing software for third-party customers.
• Assist in coding, testing, and debugging new software or enhancements.
• Write programs according to specifications from higher level staff or business analysts.
• Foster an environment of heightened security and training (HIPAA/FERPA) annually.
