Job summary

Luxoft in the United States is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with an architectural mindset to modernize an existing trading platform for a leading global resource company. You will ensure hands-on delivery while shaping technical design across frontend and backend, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.

You will own solution design, estimate effort, lead technical discussions, deliver high-quality code, and mentor teammates, with a focus on scalable, enterprise-grade web

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Senior profile with architectural design responsibility.
• Strong Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS skills.
• Strong Java Core, Spring Boot skills.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve development efficiency.
• Proven ability to design modern web applications and large-scale systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, HTTP, unit testing, and Agile environments.
• Strong ability to steer technical discussions with the customer and team.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• University degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of solution design and architectural decisions across frontend and backend areas
• Assess business requirements and provide development estimates
• Translate user requirements into technical solutions
• Lead technical discussions with the customer and within the team, proposing improvements, best practices, and scalable solutions
• Deliver high-quality code changes according to agreed timelines
• Support post-go-live 3rd-level development activities and collaborate with customer developers on the new web implementation of the payment system
• Work closely with BA, QA, and other development teams to deliver fit-for-purpose technical solutions
• Provide regular updates regarding development progress and technical risks
• Act as a senior member of the project team and provide strong support to other team members

Project Description:

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong architectural mindset for our client, one of the world's largest natural resource companies. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for maintaining and modernizing an existing trading platform.

This is a long-term engagement requiring close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders, implementation of new features, and driving technical design decisions across the platform. The team currently has sufficient delivery capacity, but what is needed is an additional senior expert who can properly design solutions, define technical approaches, and support architectural decisions while remaining hands-on in development.
