Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong architectural mindset to join our client, a world‑leading natural resources company, to maintain and modernize an existing trading platform.

You will lead solution design, collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, and stay hands‑on in development while guiding technical decisions across front‑ and back‑end. This long‑term engagement requires delivering high‑quality code and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Senior profile with architectural design capabilities.
• Strong frontend skills: Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
• Strong Java Core and Spring Boot skills.
• Experience using AI tools to improve development efficiency.
• Design modern web apps and large-scale systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, HTTP, unit testing, and Agile.
• Ability to steer technical discussions with customer and team.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• University degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of solution design and support architectural decisions across frontend and backend areas.
• Assess business requirements and provide development estimates.
• Translate user requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead technical discussions with the customer and within the team, proposing improvements, best practices, and scalable solutions.
• Deliver high-quality code changes according to agreed timelines.
• Support post-go-live 3rd-level development activities and collaborate with customer developers on the new web implementation of the payment system.
• Work closely with BA, QA, and other development teams to deliver fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
• Provide regular updates regarding development progress and technical risks.
• Act as a senior member of the project team and provide strong support to other team members.

This is a long‑term engagement requiring close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders, implementation of new features, and driving technical design decisions across the platform. The team currently has sufficient delivery capacity, but what is needed is an additional senior expert who can properly design solutions, define technical approaches, and support architectural decisions while remaining hands‑on in development.

Responsibilities:
