Job summary

Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on the Rock RMS platform. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in CS or IT, 3–5 years of full-stack development experience, and strong skills in C#, .NET, SQL Server, HTML/CSS/JS, and REST

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related field required.
  • 3–5 years of experience developing, testing, and deploying scalable full-stack applications in a collaborative development environment.
  • Experience with on-premise hosting and management (Proxmox/virtualization, CEPH, virtual routing/switching) preferred.
  • Experience with REST APIs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Rock RMS blocks, attributes, and plugins using C# and .NET.
  • Database management: write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data integrity and high-performance reporting.
  • Workflow automation: build and refine advanced Rock workflows to automate administrative tasks and enhance member engagement.
  • Integration: manage and develop API integrations between Rock RMS and third-party software.
  • UI/UX optimization: customize the Rock interface and portals using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Full-Stack Developer

Job Summary

The Full-Stack Developer will specialize in the Rock RMS platform to lead the technical management and customization of the church management system. He or she will not just be a coder, but a problem-solver who can translate ministry needs into technical solutions that improve the experience for the staff and congregation. He or she will seek to perform all duties as unto the Lord, relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance, and completing all tasks with excellence.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related field required
Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience developing, testing, and deploying scalable full-stack applications in a collaborative development environment
  • Experience with on-premise hosting and management (Proxmox/virtualization, CEPH, virtual routing/switching) preferred
  • Experience with REST APIs preferred
Certifications / Licenses
  • None required

  • UI/UX Optimization: Customize the look and feel of the Rock interface and external-facing portals using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
