Job summary

Salute is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Data Science Engineer to design sovereign data lake architectures and build end-to-end data systems. You will advance predictive models, deployment pipelines, and client-facing analytical products across hyperscale environments.

The role combines deep data science with full-stack engineering to ship production-grade data products, enforce governance, and create patentable innovations. Collaboration with AI/ML and software teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years combining data science and data engineering in production environments.
• Deep expertise in Python data ecosystem with libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Proven experience designing and operating large-scale data warehouses or data lakes (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
• Strong SQL and transformation tooling; experience with streaming data pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Full-stack capability: deliver data products from source through API and UI without hand-offs.
• Experience with intellectual property processes (invention disclosures, patent work).
• Strong technical writing for patent disclosures and analytical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate sovereign data lake/warehouse architectures with governance and lineage.
• Build end-to-end data science systems including feature engineering, model training and deployment.
• Develop novel statistical models and optimization frameworks for operational data.
• Identify patentable innovations and support patent prosecution with legal counsel.
• Create production-grade analytical products: dashboards, real-time intelligence, forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Translate sensor and OT data into structured, model-ready data products.
• Establish data engineering best practices and collaboration with AI/ML and software teams.
